Hi, I’m Steph, owner of Pole Ninjas and complete pole addict! Pole for me encapsulates so many different emotions and feelings that I can’t really imagine my life without it anymore. I truly believe that pole has something to offer everyone and there are so many beautiful styles and nuances that accompany it. I started pole with no prior dance or gymnastic background and just fell in love with the way it made me feel and the challenge it presented!

I love all styles but my favourite class to teach has got to be Basework Baddies which happens on Monday nights. I love getting creative and finding new pathways to explore. I love watching my students grow and develop their practice, and the freestyle moments just give me so much joy!

I started pole when Steph dragged me along to a beginners class and I haven’t looked back since! Its so lovely to be part of an amazing studio and I find teaching so rewarding because it means I can be a part of helping someone achieve their goals.

My favourite part of pole is strength training and flexibility. I love a good spready and ayesha - you will always catch me doing these tricks in the studio, they’re my signatures! Pole is special to me because of everything that comes with it, from the dancing, to the strength, the confidence and most of all the community!

I’m 36 and have been poling consistently for 4 years with Pole Ninjas. I was interested in gaining a skill as I got older and had my son, and pole seemed the perfect mix of dance, musicality, fitness and the all around positive environment I was seeking.

I haven’t looked back since. I enjoy strength and core conditioning along with a bit of spin pole! I also have a love for heels and combining it with beautiful floor work.

For me, pole has become a normal aspect of my life and there is a never ending challenge to improve and advance as well as meet an amazing community of people. This is what has made my pole journey an exciting and fulfilling one so far and I do not plan to stop anytime soon!

I started pole dancing around 5 years ago and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I was at a point in my life where my confidence was at an all time low and I didn’t realise the amazing community I was about to join.

Pole has given me confidence, a supportive community and honestly the feeling of just not caring what other people think about me. I fell in love with the movement, flexibility & dance aspects of pole.

Theres something addictive about over-coming the challenges you can face in pole after trying and failing. The feeling of accomplishment is like no other and gaining the strength to execute tricks and transitions is something that I want everyone to feel.
